    Princeton, NJ Train Station

Transportation to and from Princeton is easy. NJ Transit buses, and trains are easily accessible from the Princeton University NJ Train Station. The "Dinky" train from the Princeton U Train station takes passengers daily (7 minute ride) to the Princeton Junction train station which can take commuters to New York City Penn Station or Philadelphia. Schedules and prices vary depending on whether you are traveling during the week (peak or non peak), weekends or on holidays.

You can always count that there will be a Princeton Junction NJ Transit train or Amtrak train shortly upon arrival into the train station from the "Dinky".

It is easier to plan to park in Princeton vs parking at Princeton Jct because you would have to get to the Princeton Junction train station by 6:30-7:00 am to get daily parking. There is currently a 3 year wait for Monthly Princeton Junction, NJ parking.

For a schedule go to Greater Mercer Transportation Management Association (TMA)
